Telemundo units social initiatives for the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards

The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards will air live in Telemundo on Wednesday October 21st at 8 p.m. ET and the Hispanic-focused media company have heated up their social channels.

Fans can upload their best moves to “Tu y Yo” on Instagram Reels with the hashtag #retobillboard to virtually accompany Paulina Rubio and Raymix during their live performance of the song across multiple screens on the stage.

During the Red Carpet Special, which will air at 7 p.m., fans can use the hashtag # Billboards2020 on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Twitter to be included in various social mosaics on the red carpet.

At the same time, the one-hour El Preshow will be broadcast live on the Facebook pages Latin Billboards and Telemundo, on Twitter @latinxnow and on the YouTube channel Telemundo Entretenimiento.

It will take place in four locations, including the red carpet and behind the scenes, and is hosted by Carlos Adyan and Ana Jurka, and Latinx Now! Presented by En Casa Con Telemundo. Hosts Christian Acosta and Alix Aspe.

El Preshow features live interviews, surprise gigs, and red carpet looks.

Latinx now! will present a post-show live stream on Twitter and YouTube on Thursday, October 22nd at 4pm ET which rounds up all of the highlights of the event and fans can interact with the hosts.

Digital coverage begins on Sunday, October 18, with celebrity takeovers, real-time updates and a behind-the-scenes look on Facebook and Instagram, as well as exclusive daily backstage interviews with artists, moderators and moderators on

The Billboard Latin Music Awards coincide with the three-day virtual music week, which runs from October 20-23, celebrating its 30th anniversary. Artist talks, industry panels and exclusive performances will be shown.
