McCann Worldgroup promotes Suzanne Powers to international president

McCann's longtime global chief strategy officer, Suzanne Powers, has added the title of global president to the McCann Worldgroup. The move expands their global responsibility and their role is to advance the McCann Worldgroup brand and business both inside and outside the company.

Incoming CEO of the McCann Worldgroup, Bill Kolb said, “As we work together to manage the impact of the transformation currently taking place in the global marketplace, Suzanne's rich corporate knowledge and ability to interpret and develop new innovation models will be critical to Worldgroup and to accelerating Our ability to create growth opportunities for our customers will be crucial.

As global chief strategy officer, Powers will continue to lead strategic development for the network and its customers. Your responsibility includes the global leadership of the strategic talent and resources that drive the development of ideas for creative solutions on all platforms.

She will also be responsible for Truth Central, McCann Worldgroup's global in-house intelligence unit focused on uncovering the macro-level cultural, societal and human understanding of customers' brands.

Powers joined McCann Worldgroup from Crispin Porter + Bogusky in 2013, where she served as Global Strategy Officer, leading the agency's international development and working across all CP + B offices and brands. Before that she headed the global brand strategy at TBWA for more than 10 years.
