What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel for marketing and why is it important for every online marketer make one?

It is a marketing strategy used to get prospective customers to buy products from your site. It's a sales process in which a visitor comes to your blog to seek information that could help solve a problem. But, with the help of certain tools, you will learn how to build a relationship with each person who visits your blog.

This will help to be aware of the needs of each visitor. This will help you give the most accurate information to all your visitors. If you are able to build trust with a potential customer, they are more likely to buy your products. The customer becomes the visitor.

Many customers end up becoming very loyal customers and purchase almost anything your website sells. The marketing funnel is a compilation of the various steps involved in converting a website visitor to a buyer who is willing to buy whatever you sell.

This is the ultimate goal. This can easily be accomplished by constructing a funnel that is well-designed.

Your marketing tools are catching people's attention and drawing them into your funnel. Once they fill out your PERSONAL questionnaire, they will be automatically enrolled in the funnel. Since no one is going to sign up to your business lead capture page, I said "personal". They are looking to be a leader and not a business.

The lead capture pages are the gateway to the funnel. Once they click "Signup Now" or "Enter There", they will be entering a brand new world of marketing via network.

The most appealing part is that they are qualifying themselves to be able to do it. It's their choice. You haven't offered anything other than that you're an instructor, leader, and someone who can help them increase leads and also more cash in their businesses.

This is how a typical advertising funnel works.

At the "front-end" you can offer an offer that is free to draw and attract people who might be interested in purchasing your products further down the sales funnel. You will need to sign up to get the product (also known as opt-in) and enter your email address and your name. They will then be added to your email marketing list.

You can now include these contacts in your email lists so you can send them other relevant offers.

After signing to the offer, they'll be taken to a page that offers a low price or, as it's known, the tripwire offer. This is the moment they are moving to the "back end" of your funnel.

If they purchase the bargain priced offer then they will be taken to a different offer with a higher cost (normally known as an upsell). Anyone who buys the cheaper offer will be taken to the next comparable product at a higher rate. The list could go on and on...
